A 30 años de su deceso, el músico y cantautor jamaicano Bob Marley, conocido como "El Padre del Reggae" será homenajeado con actuaciones en vivo y especiales de televisión.
La víspera, artistas como Chris Cornell, Jennifer Hudson, Jakob Dylan y Lenny Kravitz participaron al lado de Ziggy Marley, hijo de Bob, en uno de los especiales transmitidos por dicho motivo, dentro de una emisión conducida por Jimmy Fallon, por la cadena estadunidense NBC.

El cantante británico Paul McCartney ofrecerá este miércoles en la capital chilena el recital más caro en la historia del país sudamericano, con boletos que llegan a superar los dos mil 200 dólares.

El Noveno Encuentro Internacional de Jazz y Música Viva, que en esta ocasión reunirá a músicos de México, Estados Unidos, España, Francia y Alemania, se desarrollará a partir de hoy y hasta el 14 de mayo, en el Teatro del Centro de las Artes de Nuevo León.
El encuentro, que se realiza con el apoyo de Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (Conaculta), el Consejo para la Cultura y las Artes de Nuevo León, y los consulados de Estados Unidos y Francia, continúa con un formato que combina las presentaciones de los músicos participantes, nacionales y extranjeros, con el objetivo de brindar música de calidad a la sociedad neolonesa y visitantes.

La banda estadounidense de rock Incubus, conocidos por su sonido experimental y progresivo, estrenó en su página oficial el videoclip de la canción "Adolescents", primer sencillo de lo que será su sexto álbum de estudio.
